What we build for Houston homes
Houston is home base. From older inner-loop houses to newer builds on the edges of the city, the work we do here centers on kitchens, master bathrooms and the built-in carpentry that ties a renovated room together — cabinets, closets, paneling and trim made to fit your walls instead of ordered off a catalog.

Old houses and new ones remodel differently
Many older Houston homes sit on pier-and-beam foundations, while most newer ones are slab-on-grade. That changes how plumbing gets moved: under a pier-and-beam house there is crawl-space access, while relocating a drain in a slab home means cutting and trenching the concrete. It's one of the first things to look at when you plan a new bathroom layout.
Permits inside city limits
Inside the City of Houston, structural, plumbing and electrical changes generally need permits through the Houston Permitting Center. Cosmetic work like cabinet refacing usually doesn't. The scope of your remodel decides which applies, so sort it out before demolition starts.
Humidity is hard on bathrooms
Gulf Coast humidity punishes bathrooms that aren't built for it. A properly waterproofed shower, an exhaust fan vented to the outside, and materials that tolerate moisture matter more here than in drier climates — they're what keep grout, paint and cabinetry looking new.
“The butler's pantry custom cabinetry Steven crafted is stunning. Absolute flat surfaces, perfect spacing, and zero flaws on the hand-laid marble tops.”— Charlotte, Precise Buildz client
Remodeling in Houston: common questions
Something else on your mind? Call (346) 857-3987 or send the estimate form.
Do you remodel homes inside Houston city limits?
Yes. Houston is our home base, and we take on kitchen, bathroom, cabinetry and whole-home remodels across the city and the surrounding communities.
Can you move plumbing in a slab-foundation home?
Yes, but it is a bigger job than in a pier-and-beam house, because the slab has to be cut and trenched to reroute drains. We look at this early so your layout and budget reflect it before anything is torn out.
Who builds the cabinets?
We do. Cabinets are designed, cut, assembled and finished in our local shop, so the boxes are sized to your actual walls instead of padded out with filler strips.
Will Steven be on my job?
Yes. Steven is on site daily, manages the carpenters directly and is your point of contact from the first walkthrough to the final punch list.
