Custom Kitchen Remodeling in Houston
Cabinetry built in our own shop, stone selected slab by slab, and a layout planned around how your family actually cooks.

Shop-built cabinetry, yard-picked stone.
A Precise Buildz kitchen starts in the shop, not the showroom. Steven Hernandez designs, cuts, assembles, and finishes the cabinet boxes in-house so every run fits your walls to the millimeter — no filler strips, no off-the-shelf sizing. Doors are classic inset shaker in white oak or painted finishes, drawers ride on soft-close under-mount slides, and the hardware is chosen to be felt every day, not just seen.
Countertops are where the kitchen earns its reputation. We work in Taj Mahal quartzite and marble, inspect slabs at the yard before they're cut, and design waterfall islands so the veining wraps the corner cleanly. Backsplashes are laid tile by tile — herringbone and stacked patterns are favorites in our recent pantries. Appliances are integrated into the cabinetry rather than parked beside it, with dedicated circuits run for each one. Whether the project is a full kitchen gut-out in Houston or a walk-in butler's pantry in The Woodlands, Steven is on site daily, and the same crew that builds the cabinets installs them.
Kitchens often grow into adjacent work: the same shop builds our custom millwork and cabinetry for closets and mudrooms, and glass-front bar and display cabinetry for the pantry or bar.

From consultation to finished kitchen.
Kitchen Consultation
Steven walks the existing kitchen with you: how you cook, where the bottlenecks are, which walls can move, and where plumbing and electrical already run. You leave with a realistic scope, not a sales pitch.
Design & Slab Selection
We draw the cabinet layout to your exact wall dimensions, choose door style and finish, and go to the stone yard together to tag the Taj Mahal quartzite or marble slabs for your counters and island.
Shop Build & Install
Cabinets are built and finished in our shop while demolition and rough-ins happen on site. Boxes are installed by the crew that built them, counters are templated and set, tile is laid, and appliances are integrated last.
Custom Kitchen Remodeling FAQ
Do you build the kitchen cabinets yourselves or order them from a factory?
We build them. Every box is designed, cut, assembled, painted, and finished in our own shop, then installed by the same crew. That's how we get cabinet runs that fit your walls without filler strips.
What countertop material do you recommend for a kitchen?
Most of our kitchens use Taj Mahal quartzite — it has the warm, veined look of marble with better resistance to everyday wear. We also work in marble where the homeowner wants it, and we inspect every slab at the yard before it's cut.
Can you do a waterfall island?
Yes. Waterfall edges are a signature detail in our kitchen work. We plan the slab layout so the veining wraps the corner continuously rather than stopping at a seam.
Will I be without a kitchen the whole time?
Because the cabinetry is built in our shop while site work happens, the kitchen is out of commission for the install phase rather than the entire project. Steven lays out the sequence in your quote so you know exactly which weeks to plan around.
Do you handle the plumbing and electrical for the kitchen too?
Yes. Dedicated appliance circuits, designer lighting, and fixture plumbing are coordinated as part of the kitchen scope, so you're not managing separate trades.
Can you build a butler's pantry or walk-in pantry as a standalone project?
Absolutely — several of the projects on this page are pantries. Glass-front uppers, open shelving, drawer storage, and a built-in beverage fridge are all common requests.
